I began training at 16 years old when I joined a local gym with my mother. I was not an athletic child growing up and found that I loved training with weights. I guess that you could say that it was “love at first dumbbell.”

I have been training consistently for over 18 years and am passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. The term “do what you love” became apparent to me when I realized that I did not want to spend my working career behind a desk. Personal training was the obvious answer for me to share my knowledge and passion for fitness with others. I enjoy training and creating fun, challenging workouts for clients. I want to educate others on the importance of incorporating a healthy and fit lifestyle.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Food-Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s degree in Physical Education. I am certified by both ISSA and NASM and am CPR, AED and Aid First certified. I am in the process of obtaining certifications for both Nutrition and Fitness Therapy.
